Banner Environment Authentication Upgrade

    We will be upgrading the technology that governs authentication into all Banner services. During the duration of this maintenance, authentication into Banner, plus.hope.edu, DegreeWorks and others Banner services will be intermittently unavailable. If you have an active authentication session before this maintenance window, it should not affect your login.

Campus phone outage

    Our phone provider has resolved the phone system outage.

    Currently users are unable to call in or out from campus phones to off-campus. On-campus calling works without issue.

Printservices and Phys plant services unavailable.

    Print Services / Print Shop Pro has now been resolved. This incident is being closed. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to CIT.

Issue with the Titanium Server

    Titanium has been restored and is once again functional. Reach out to CIT with any questions or concerns.

    We're looking into reports that the on-campus server called Titanium isn't working as expected. We'll update here when we know more.

Banner Document Management Not Resolving Images

    We have applied a permanent fix for this issue. All issues with BDM should be resolved.

    We have identified the issue and instituted a temporary fix. We'll be patching the system today for a longer term solution. For now, the system is working.

Pay Stubs Not Displaying

    Closing this incident as no further issues have been reported after applying the fix.

Landline phone calls between campus and outside

    Tomorrow morning (4/23 at 7 am) the infrastructure that hosts a part of the Banner environment will be restarted. The following systems will be intermittently available:

    • The Banner Database

    • plus.hope.edu

    • Banner Admin Pages

    • SchedulePlanner

    • Blite

    If you happen to notice this restart, it should only last a few minutes. Reach out to CIT if you have any questions or concerns or notice anything awry after 7:30 am.
