Since last night's network update, all campus networks appear to have maintained stable connections and improved speeds. We anticipate the network speeds will continue to improve in the coming days. If you are still experiencing issues, please submit a ticket using the link in the upper-right corner of the CIT Help Desk website.

After the 5:30pm network update, the wireless connectivity and internet speed issues appear to have improved on all campus networks, and performance should be noticeably better. We will continue to monitor the network overnight. If you still experience issues, please reboot your device. If the issues persist after a reboot, please submit a ticket using the link in the upper-right corner of the CIT Help Desk website.

    Update

CIT is still working with our vendors to resolve the internet speed issues on campus. We’ve discovered a problem with the latest configuration of the equipment that runs our network. We have identified next steps, and we plan to reboot the access points on campus at 5:30pm tonight after making a configuration change. Devices may briefly disconnect from the internet during that time, though we anticipate any disruption will not exceed 10 minutes.

Our next update via email will be at 8pm. Please keep an eye on helpdesk.hope.edu for additional updates. Thank you for your understanding.

  • Update
    Update

All campus WiFi networks are continuing to experience slow internet speeds, and we have received reports that some ethernet connections are also experiencing slowness.

We continue to work with our vendors to resolve this issue as soon and smoothly as possible. Updates will be posted here as we progress.

  • Update
    Update

CIT is continuing to work with our vendors to fix the WiFi issues on campus. The low internet speeds are affecting all networks on campus, and interfere with accessing certain sites quickly, including Moodle, Banner and other systems. Updates will be posted here as we progress.

We're aware that WiFi is central to our community connecting to your Hope experience, and we are working to expedite the solution. Thank you for your understanding as we work toward resolution.
