Issues connecting to Moodle
  • Update
    Update

Update - We've found that this issue is not limited to Moodle pages and can affect other Hope College sites (Hope Login, Print Shop Pro, etc.). We've also found that clearing cache and cookies does not resolve the issue for all users.

If you are still unable to load Hope College sites in Chrome on a Mac after clearing cache and cookies, the issue is related to a macOS Screen Time content filter interfering with Chrome connections to our servers.

Please follow the steps in this article to resolve it: https://helpdesk.hope.edu/kb/article/107-chrome-not-loading-hope-college-websites-on-mac/

If you continue to have issues accessing any Hope College sites, submit a ticket at helpdesk.hope.edu or stop by the CIT Office on the backside of Durfee.

We've identified the issue accessing Moodle is mostly affecting Apple computers. You can follow the instructions here to remove a chrome profile: https://helpdesk.hope.edu/kb/article/106-manage-chrome-profiles/#remove-profiles-google-chrome

We have identified the issue with authenticating into Banner and Blite and issued a fix.
